MDM-5000 High Energy Brushless Servo Motors

Torque Systems new high energy brushless servo motor brings the highest available torque density in a platform that is easily customized to fit your application. The excellent winding density of a proprietary segmented lamination technology combined with a neodymium magnet array provides for maximum power output - up to 27.5 Nm (243 lb-in ) continuous stall torque in a compact 140 mm ( NEMA 56) package. Our brushless servo motors offer the highest reliablity and performance in the industry and with our virtual ship program you can ensure you are getting the delivery time your critical application demands.

Food Grade Brushless Servo Motor

This MDM-F Food Grade product line, like our recently introduced Stainless Steel Series, is based upon Torque System's industry leading MDM technology, which provides energy efficient servo motors in popular industry standard frame sizes and configurations. This new motor offering is ideal for use in food, beverage, and dairy. The MDM Food Grade Servo Motor is also ideal for pharmaceutical and personal care manufacturing and equipment applications.

H-Series Servo Motor

The new MDM H-Series is designed as a drop-in replacement for all Rockwell H-Series servo motors. The MDM H-Series Servo motor is based upon Torque Systems' industy leading MDM technology, which provides energy efficient motor configuration for popular Rockwell H-Series frame sizes. These motor configurations are ideal for use in punch press/material feeding, robotic pick and place, "Smart" conveyor systems, packaging applications, and other high duty cycle applications.

N-Series Servo Motor

The new MDM N-Series is designed as a drop-in replacement for all Rockwell N-Series ( ElectroCraft N-Series ) servo motors. CMC's N-Series incorporates our MDM technology, which provides energy efficient motor configurations in NEMA 23, 34, 42 and 56 standard frame sizes. These motor configurations can be used for Semiconductor, Robotics, and Material Handling, as well as Web Processing, Printing and Packaging industry applications.

Stainless Steel Brushless Servo Motor

The MDM Stainless Steel Servo Motor product line, like our recently introduced H-Series Servo Motor, is based upon our industry leading MDM technology, which provides energy-efficient servo motors in popular industry-standard frame size configurations. Torque Systems stainless brushless servo motors are ideal for use in the food, beverage and dairy industries as well as in pharmaceutical products development and personal care manufacturing applications.

Intrinsically Safe Barrier Blocks

Cleveland-Kidder® Intrinsically-Safe Barrier Blocks permit the use of UL Listed Cleveland-Kidder Tension Transducers in hazardous Class 1, Group A, B, C, or D atmospheres, when combined with CMC Tensi-Master Indicators, DIN Rail Amplifiers, and Controllers. The Transducers may be installed in the hazardous area, without purging, up to 150 feet away from the Barrier Blocks, and the Indicator or Controller when located in a non-hazardous area and connected in accordance with CMC Control Drawing A800-42273 or A800-42281.

DC Brush Servo Motor - Platform 40TT

The Torque Systems 40TT is specifically designed to directly replace the discontinued line of Kollmorgen* TT Servomotors. All mechanical and electromagnetic features are matched to the TT fit and function. Shaft and mounting configurations are exact fits. Motor performance is specifically matched to suit the existing TT operating parameters. The 40TT features a rugged steel housing for ideal for severe operating environments. Its excellent heat transfer characteristics provide maximum performance in tough conditions.

DC Brush Servo Motor - Platform 3500

Rated from 11 lb.-in to 94 lb.-in with speeds and torque stability up to 4600 RPM, the TORQUEMASTER 3500 Series of brush servo motors provides smooth operation. The 3500 Series is designed to deliver high performance with efficiency, flexibility of application, and a long and trouble-free service life. Torque System servo motors can be customized to fit exact application with tachometers, encoders, brakes and other options.

DC Brush Servo Motor - Platform 4100

The TORQUEMASTER 4100 Series of brush servo motors provides smooth operation throughout a full speed range that you can count on. The 4100 Series delivers smooth and superior low speed performance, and maximum power ratings with low thermal resistance for high speed performance. The 4100 Series is rated from 12 lb.-in to 28 lb.-in with torque and speed stability up to 3500 RPM. This servo motor is ruggedly designed and manufactured for reliable performance.

Ultra ISC Embedded Amplifier Tension Transducer

The Ultra ISC is a tension transducer that directly outputs a +/- 10 VDC signal. CMC offers an ISC version for all models of our Ultra tension transducers. All Ultra ISC transducers include an Integrated Signal Conditioner (ISC) that is embedded directly in the "Ultra" type tension load cells. This is accomplished by extending the connector housing one inch and inserting a proprietary integrated amplifier designed by CMC.

Frameless Motors & Direct Drive Sets from Torque Systems

MDM-5000 Direct Drive Sets (Frameless Motors Kit) have been developed to fit applications where size and weight are important factors. Direct Drive technology allows for high servo stiffness which maximizes rate and position accuracy because there are no belts, gears or backlash inherent with most other servo systems. MDM-5000 Direct Drive Sets are supplied as two pieces; a cut-core segmented stator and a rotor. The stator is molded in a thin walled aluminum housing using thermally conductive epoxy, which provides excellent heat transfer and protects the windings (and optional integrated Hall board) from damage during installation and handling. The rotor is coated with a polymer shrink wrap which protects the magnets from dislodging during operation and also prevents damage while handling.

Quantum Tension Control

The Cleveland Motion Controls Quantum is a high feature, low cost web tension controller for use with tension transducers, dancers, and ultrasonic sensors. By utilizing the lastest microprocessor technology, Cleveland Motion Controls has made the Quantum Web Tension Controller extremely small (the size of a postcard). It is configurable for all types of unwinds utilizing magnetic particle brakes, pneumatic brakes, clutches, or drives. The bulit-in current regulated power supply eliminates the need for an external power supply when used with a Cleveland Motion Controls magnetic particle brake.

Tension Indicators

Cleveland-Kidder Tension Indicators have been redesigned to maximize their performance, versatility and precision. Ultra line and Classic line Indicators are optimized for use with the corresponding line of tension transducers. Both indicator lines are housed in a rugged, industrial-grade enclosure.

Tension Load Cell Amplifier

The Cleveland-Kidder® Load Cell Amplifier interfaces with a wide variety of controllers for monitoring and measuring precise web tension. It is lightweight, low-cost and low-profile, providing excitation and signal conditioning for either one or two foil or strain gage web tension transducers (load cells). It is easy to set-up and calibrate and it is virtually impervious to EMI emissions.
