President, Andy Simpson came to SKA from the US Air Force in 2000, where he spent 15 years in the Space and Missile Program. In his 18 years with SKA, he has developed a sound background in Mechatronics and Industrial Power Transmission. He is active in PTRA and works to lead development of his team’s continuing education and elevation of professional practices in the sales and marketing for the Principals SKA represents.
Vice President & General Manager, Brian Ankrom has been in the Industrial Power Transmission business since 1988. He has worked his way through the ranks, experiencing all aspects of the Distribution operation and as well as being Branch Manager for Motion Industries. Leaving Distribution he became National Sales Manager for Webster Chain. In this manufacturing role, Brian developed intimate knowledge of distribution and manufacturing process and material flow as well as being extremely proficient in maintaining a high level of training and readiness for himself and his team.
Mike started his career in 1969 in Distribution, working both for AIT and Motion. Mike started his Rep Company in 1981 as J.M. Simpson & Associates, and in 1984 merged with Phil Kiritsy, forming Simpson Kiritsy & Associates Inc., now SKA Simpson & Associates, Inc.. Over the years Mike guided SKA to be a solutions provider with sales and technical support as a complete mechatronics agency. Mike lives in the Tampa Bay area.
