WEBSTER INDUSTRIES

Webster Industries Inc. provides engineered conveying solutions for a wide range of industries.

PORTALLOY© Mill Chains

Capable of operating at high speeds with minimal lubrication, our welded steel mill chains can be easily modified with a range of application-specific attachments.
Operators in a variety of industries, from forest products to grain and ethanol to recycling, know they can rely on the simple yet rugged construction of Webster mill chains.

  1. Offset or straight sidebars, pin and barrel.
  2. Rugged weld construction allows for operation in less than desirable conditions in abrasive and demanding environments.
  3. Barrel is welded to sidebars with steel press fit pins, resulting in maximum value through minimum moving components and low cost.
  4. Standard sizes and standard attachments are available from stock. Made-to-order/custom-designed mill chains also available.

PORTALLOY© DRAG CHAIN

Our exclusive two-piece welded barrel offers better scraping action, as well as double thickness at the wear points. Webster drag chain operates at high speeds with minimal lubrication.

  1. Offset steel bars, pin and welded two-piece barrel.
  2. Rugged weld construction allows for operation in less than desirable conditions in abrasive and demanding environments.
  3. Barrel is welded to sidebars with steel press fit pins, resulting in maximum value through minimum moving components and low cost. Also available in reverse barrel design.
  4. Standard sizes and standard attachments are available from stock. Made-to-order/custom-designed drag chain also available.

Cast Chains

Like all of our industrial steel chain, our cast chains are made by Americans with American materials, in an American-owned plant.
Our rugged cast chains are manufactured to withstand the wear and tear of industrial use.

  1. Cast links and heat-treated steel pins
  2. Slightly larger clearances allow material to easily work out of chain joint
  3. Standard sizes and standard attachments are available from stock. Made-to-order/custom-designed cast chains also are available.

SBR CHAINS

Our steel bushed roller chain provides a lower operating friction, helping to boost chain life and cut conveyor design requirements.
Suitable for tough industrial applications, our SBR chains are the right fit for bucket elevators, flight and scraper conveyors and other light-, medium- and heavy-duty conveying applications.

  1. Medium carbon steel sidebars, thru-hardened alloy steel pins, case-hardened bushings for maximum wear resistance.
  2. Heat-treated rollers, hardened bushings and pins, steel sidebars.
  3. Standard sizes and standard attachments are available from stock. Made-to-order/custom-designed SBR chains also are offered.

HSB Chains

A more rugged alternative to combination chains, HSB chain offers higher load ratings and longer life, thanks to its all-steel construction. Our hardened steel bushed chains also require little maintenance.

  1. Sidebars of medium carbon heat-treated steel, heat-treated pins and low carbon case-hardened bushings.
  2. Steel bushings and pins pressed into steel sidebars for maximum strength, wear resistance and precision.
  3. Patented stainless steel double side bushing mounted into stainless steel output quill – easily mounts onto standard stainless shafting. Readily change shaft size from a variety of available bushing sizes - inch and metric.
  4. Standard sizes and standard attachments are available from stock. Made-to-order/custom-designed HSB chains also are available.

ELEVATOR BUCKET

Our elevator bucket offerings are available in fabricated steel and cast malleable iron.
Our fabricated steel buckets are available in a variety of materials with numerous options such as hardface welding or wear lips to resist abrasion.
Each cast malleable elevator bucket is designed to fill properly during loading and discharge freely and cleanly.

  1. Fabricated steel buckets are laser cut and robotically welded in exact fixturing to provide precise mounting and performance. Cast buckets are smooth and seamless with reinforced corners. There are four fabricated steel elevator bucket styles and seven cast styles.
  2. Standard cast sizes and styles are available from stock. Made-to-order fabricated steel elevator buckets also are available.

Steel Belt Conveyors

As a leader among conveyor chain manufacturers, Webster Industries can design and manufacture the steel belt conveyor that meets your needs.

  1. Apron Conveyors Offered on most SBR chains, available withl outboard rollers. Wide range of thicknesses and widths available, depending on applications. Cottered construction.
  2. ENDURO-FLITE© SBR chains, alloy steel thru rods, inner tubes, formed or welded hinge steel pans, side wings.
  3. Piano Hinge Conveyors Formed piano hinge, available in 6” and 9” pitch. A welded hinge is available in 12” pitch. Available in widths from 12" to 102".

TOP PLATE CONVEYOR CHAIN

We engineer and manufacture top plate conveyor chain for use in a wide variety of industries, including steel handling, auto making and paper mills.

  1. Flat Top Conveyor Chain SBR chain with outboard rollers and a welded top plate. Available in single-strand and dual-strand construction.
  2. Slat Top Conveyor Chain SBR chain with outboard rollers and a bolted top plate. Available in single-strand and dual-strand construction.
  3. Gull Wing Conveyor Chain SBR chain with outboard rollers and a welded top plate. Typically furnished as single strand.
  4. Horizontal Curve Conveyor Chain Forged inside link, steel sidebars and pins, welded to a curved cut top plate with thrust rollers and an independent conveying chain, which has steel brackets, thru rods and outboard rollers.

Vibrating Conveyors

Our vibrating/shaker conveyors are designed specifically for rugged, difficult environments that other conveyors have difficulty in handling.

  1. CoilWeb® vibrating conveyors Features standardized reactor coil springs, rocker arm components, standard carbon steel pans, structured steel base and semi-positive eccentric drive with coil spring connections to minimize torque requirements.
  2. Flat Spring vibrating conveyors Fabricated with composite flat springs, standard carbon steel pans and a superior positive eccentric drive utilizing spherical roller bearings and rubber bushing.
